Colorful and Pretty Spring Tops from Old Navy

Last week I was running errands and ran into my local Old Navy, just to see what was new.

And I walked out with a handful of bright and cheerful tops for spring and thought it would be helpful to share some outfit ideas to mixing these finds with pieces you might already have in your closet.

I hope these kind of posts are helpful! They take a lot more time to schedule, organize and produce but I’m hoping to be able to share them once or twice a week as we move through the season.

For reference I am 5’10 and wear a medium top and size 29 jean.

Waist-Defined V-Neck Top

I had very little expectation for this top and it ended up being my favorite of the bunch. It’s bright and bold with a surprisingly lovely fit. I did size up to a large because the only stretch is a little bit of smocking in the back.

My shoes are the he Jeffrey Campbell Linques Sandals . I shared these last year and I know so many of you have them. Available at Anthropologie for $130. I’m wearing them in nude, I also have them in black. There is a very cool silver option that mixes gold and silver together and an all gold option that is almost sold out. I LOVE these.

My bag is from Amazon for about $30 and, you can’t see them but I’m wearing these pearl cluster earrings from Tuckernuck for $48 – they look adorable with it.

Open-Stitch Sweater

Next, I took the same jeans and paired them with their Open-Stitch Sweater, retailing for $44.99 with an extra 40% off at checkout.

Looks great against white or ecru bottoms, pair with shorts, or to pull out a color in a printed pair of pants.

My sandals are from Dillards last year and are unfortunately sold out but they were a big seller for us so if you have them be sure to pull them out for this season. Long-Sleeve Split-Neck Top

You know I love stripe, and their Long-Sleeve Split-Neck Top is 100% cotton, fits away from the body and very flattering.

I styled it with these splurgy jeans from AG. I picked up the AG Farrah Cropped Bootcut Jeans for my trip to Key West. They are fun and beach, and I love how they work with the equally beach vibe of the top. These run small so size up. Available in size 24 – 32.

And my sandals are a simple pair of raffia slides from Steve Madden for $55.

Oversized Button-Down Boyfriend Shirt

This was the last outfit we shot and I ended up swapping out the white jeans for these best sellers from J.Crew and ran out for school pick up.

I should have snapped a picture of that but was running late as usual. I like this shirt so much I went online and ordered a few more colors, including a few stripes. It runs big so size down.
