We are heading to the shore in a few weeks for a month. We’ve never been away for this long, and I’ve been looking forward to it since we booked the house around Christmas last year.

Perfect Denim Shorts

In my book, shorts have no age limit. But as I’ve gotten older, I prefer a 4″ – 5″ inseam, so they are long enough to give me some coverage but short enough to look like shorts.

Saks OFF 5TH has a lovely selection of premium denim, including Reader Favorite brand, Joe’s Jeans. 

And I was delighted to find these dark wash, high-waisted shorts from Joe’s Jeans for $69.99.

I’m 5’10 and wear a solid size ten.

I sized up to fit my hips and then took the waistband in so it doesn’t gap. I’m wearing these in size 32 with an alteration at the waist.

Also, I know it’s not everyones favorite, but I have a soft spot for distressed denim and the Rosa Mid-Rise from Rag & Bone is a great deal – if you like the style.

I am working while we’re away and wanted a few easy-to-throw-on pieces, so I can wake up and be ready for whatever the day brings.

This dress is super cute, light as air, and comfortable. Available in indigo (above) and olive.

I styled it with the See by Chloe slides, but you could also wear it with sneakers, like these Reader Favorite Veja’s.

Date Night Dress

Flattering Swimsuit
