Labor Day Sale Round-up

Holiday weekend sales are overwhelming.

So much so that if this wasn’t my actual job, I would ignore them.

This year, many retailers are using the sale to clear out summer pieces. Which in theory sounds great, but in reality, there are no sizes and nothing worth mentioning.

So I took a few hours to search our favorite retailers to find the most wearable, in-season pieces at the best prices possible, in full-size ranges.

Today’s round-up has something for everyone, and I promise you will see many ways to wear these in the coming weeks.

Vest weather is upon us, and this J.Crew option with bold stitch detail went straight into my cart in the color above (nutmeg). Express High Waisted Coated Ankle Jeans

Speaking of coated jeans, this high-waisted ankle-length pair from Express is on sale for just under $60.

Available in 0 – 18 in short, regular, and long inseam. I ordered the long since I’m 5’10, and I don’t want these to look like floods.

And please don’t think you are “too old” for Express. I am 42 and have many pieces in my closet that I wear constantly. I find their updated classics, like these pants, add the “twist” to my classic-with-a-twist style without breaking the bank.

Old Navy Dynamic Fleece Zip Hoodie

Who doesn’t love a polished sweatsuit in the fall? They are great for early morning school runs, a day of errands, or a trip to the airport.

I’m all for variety and regularly wear straight boyfriend or girlfriend jeans.
