3 Cute Halloween Night Outfit Ideas
Handing Out Candy
If you’re on candy duty you’ll want something warm, comfy and cute enough to wave to your neighbors.
We’re centering this look around this cozy sweater from Old Navy. We featured this a few weeks back in our Sunday Sales roundup.
Available in regular, petite and tall sizes XS – 4X in neutral (featured) and black, for $44.99 with an extra 30% off. And we’re pairing them with the Good American Good Leg Straight Leg Jeans.
They are great to wear with sneakers, so we using the popular Veja Campo Sneakers in extra white almond. I have these, I love them, I wear them all the time.
For an extra layer of warmth, through on your J.Crew New Quilted Excursion Vest in coco. It’s on sale right now for $74.50, in sizes XXXS – 3X.
Then I added these under $15 14K gold plated lightweight hoops.
And finally, I found this sweet candy bowl you can have customized. I love tradition, and special things for simple moments, like using the same bowl every Halloween. This one from Personalization Mall is on sale for $60 and has the option for express shipping. And what a sweet gift if you know someone who just got married, or moved to a new place.
Walking the Neighborhood
If you’re headed out with the kids, we’re dressing in tonal layers. And you want to look pulled together because your bound to run into someone you don’t like 😉
I’m assuming the ground might be wet since it’s been raining nonstop around here. So I started with the Tall Waterproof Rain Boot from Hunter in dark blue. We featured these a few weeks ago in our Nordstrom Early Fall Round Up and they were a big hit.
These are a nice height, especially if you are on the short side, and found their original boots too tall for you.
I paired them with these J.Crew 8″ toothpick Jean in Vista Wash. You need a pair of skinnies in your closet if you are planning on wearing boots.
Available in regular, petite and tall in sizes 23 – 37.
From our September Capsule I pulled the J.Crew Cashmere Patch-Pocket Cardigan Sweater and Julie Vos’s Fleur-de-Lis Hoop & Charm Earring in Chalcedony Blue.
You’ll want a layer between you and the cardigan, so grab your Amazon tank (sold in a pack of two in case you don’t have them yet.)
If you need a tried and true casual coat, you can’t go wrong with on from LL Bean. Our featured coat is under $90 and comes in plus sizes.
Finally, since you’ll be out with kids, I included a Lululemon Belt Bag, these things are amazing, and this one is updated, a bit bigger than the original so it’s great for moms.
And make sure you have a Yeti for a hot drink while you walk.
Hosting a Night In
Finally, maybe your Halloween isn’t kid-centric, but you have friends over for take out and a movie.
Pull out the viral Amazon pants, that wear like a trouser and feel like a sweat pant. AND they come in THRESS LENGTHS.
Because the pants have a wide leg, it’s nice to pair them with a top that fits closer to your body, like this The Alpaca Wrap Sweater from Everlane.
For something more casual, consider this faux wrap sweatshirt from Athleta, that gives a similar, but less precious feel and comes in plus sizes as well.
Since we’re at home, grab a pair of Birdies. Gosh we love this brand. The Phoebe are their velvet slides with faux fur, they are seriously comfortable and such a genius idea for hosting at home. AND you can get them monogramed.
For some drama a red lip gloss, this one if from Fenty’s HEAT collection so it feels a little warm when you put it on to plump your lips.
And to stay on them I found these gorgeous spider web earrings from Baublebar on sale at Nordstrom Rack and Skeleton Wine Glasses from Amazon.
