Thank you to Gap Factory for sponsoring the post.

We are officially in busy season. From now until June there is at least one event, usually two on our calendar for the weekend. And while I don’t have to get super dressed up, I do need some outfits.

Sound familiar?

So let’s turn to our friends at Gap Factory for some outfit ideas, I have four for your today, including a lovely floral dress, crisp white bottoms and some pretty tops.

Shop Gap Factory’s Friends + Family Sale now for 50% off sitewide + an extra 10% off at checkout using code GFFRIEND (some exclusions apply).

Four Affordable Spring Outfits from Gap Factory

V-Neck Flutter Sleeve Midi Dress, $39.99 | Splitneck Print Flutter Sleeve Top, $19.99 | High-Rise Wide Leg Jean, $34.99 | Relaxed Mixed-Stitch Cardigan, $29.99 | High-Rise Wide Leg Jean | Ribbed Eyelet Flutter Sleeve T-Shirt, $17.49 | Mid Rise Baby Boot Cut Jeans, $34.99

For reference I am 5’10 and typically wear a medium tops and a 29 in jeans. I note where I size up.

V-Neck Flutter Sleeve Midi Dress

If you are looking for a casual, elevated dress for a spring occasion, consider this cotton blend, V-Neck Flutter Sleeve Midi Dress available in XS – XL. I am 5’10 and it hits me at a nice spot on my leg. If you need to have it shortened, it is an easy alteration.

And, it has pockets!

Wear it on its on or throw on a denim jacket.

Relaxed Mixed-Stitch Cardigan

Of course, a pop of red is a classic style move, but it’s also a big trend for spring.

Their Relaxed Mixed-Stitch Cardigan, is 100% cotton and has an open stitch and scalloped trim. I layered it over their “favorite tank” in white (I stocked up on these a few months ago in white, black, and navy, and they are under $10).

And I added the High-Rise Wide Leg Jean in the color “new off-white.

These are available in sizes 24 – 35 in regular, short, and tall lengths. I sized up in these because they are 100% cotton and more riding than jeans with stretch. I’m wearing the regular length because I like the hem to skim my ankle this time of year.

Splitneck Print Flutter Sleeve Top

You know what I love? A top you don’t have to tuck in.

So, for all my friends who loathe a front tuck, pick up their Splitneck Print Flutter Sleeve Top.

This hits me at just the right spot. It extends the length of my legs and helps me maintain my height visually.

Available in XS – XXL for $19.99. I’m wearing the medium.

I’m wearing with the High-Rise Wide Leg Jean, but this would also be super cute with shorts.

Ribbed Eyelet Flutter Sleeve T-Shirt

Finally, I talk a lot about a “better than a tee shirt tee shirt,” and the Ribbed Eyelet Flutter Sleeve T-Shirt is a great example.

It’s a tee shirt with something else going on: a pretty eyelet flutter sleeve.

Available in “Cupid Pink (featured), off-white and black, in XS -XXL for $17.49.

I’m wearing it with our favorite mid-Rise Baby Boot Cut Jeans. Every time I share these, they end up on our best-seller list. They are awesome, only $34.99, and available in sizes 24 – 35 in regular, short, and long lengths.

I absolutely love reading your articles! They have became my go to source for ideas on what to buy and how to wear it. Personally, a good sense of humor is a trait I look for in people I meet or articles that I read. I love a good laugh, so when add something funny about your own life I think it makes you stand out and your articles much more personable.(like when you said your daughter would have to have some big nerve to take a whole charging station from your room😂)! My daughter pokes fun at “my obsession “ with how women over 40should dress, you think she would be thankful I’m not showing up in the same outfit that she’s wearing like my mom did me!🤷‍♀️If my mom is also one of your readers, I’m kidding! I loved that she did that,it was by far the highlight of my teenage years!😬

I really enjoy your content but the ads on the site make it difficult to read. There are ads constantly popping up, ads that cover a portion of your pictures and ads that box around the text that I have to wait to clear so I can read the text. Maybe this is more of a problem because I read your posts on my cell phone. Even typing this comment is challenging because ads are popping up everywhere. Just wanted to make you aware of this.

I don't love them either but they are the only way I can monetize the site. I'll check the settings and see if I can limit them a bit more on mobile.

Let me start by saying, I love you and your posts. However, I hate the "new" pants that hit at mid calf. They look awful on everyone!!! They remind me of capris. I can't wait for this trend to pass!!
