What to Buy at Rothy’s

Rothy’s is having a big end-of-year sale and I don’t want you to miss it.

As a brand, Rothy’s has been a consistent reader favorite throughout 2025, and almost all of our best sellers are included. So I’m sharing a quick roundup of the styles we’ve loved, worn, and recommended most this year.

What’s interesting is that I’ve been wearing Rothy’s since they first came onto the scene, and over time they’ve done a really good job of evolving their styles and product offerings while staying true to their core mission. Their shoes are made from plastic water bottles converted into thread, they ship in boxes made from 100% recycled materials without excess packaging, and everything still arrives feeling thoughtful and well cared for.

The fact that the shoes are washable only adds to the appeal. But if I’m being honest, what keeps me coming back is the design. The styles are simple, timeless, and genuinely easy to wear. The sustainability and thoughtful production matter to me, but they’re a bonus, not a tradeoff. These are shoes I’d want in my closet regardless, and the fact that they’re made responsibly just makes them easier to recommend.

The Casual Clog

The Casual Clog (Studded), $159

Let’s start with their latest release, The Casual Clog.

I have two styles, and both are incredibly comfortable and easy to wear this time of year. Honestly, I would have never considered myself a clog-girl, but here we are, I love these.

First up is the pair with the stud detailing along the bottom in the color Cinnamon. I had just taken them out of the box when my oldest, home from college, immediately tried to walk out of my closet with them. The moment she starts asking, “Do you really like them?” I know I’m about to be gently gaslit into believing they’re not my style so she can take them, thinking she’s doing me a favor.

NOTE: Select colors of The Casual Clog (without the studs) are on sale starting at $99.

The second pair is The Braided Clog in Butternut. Both feel modern and updated, but still very easy and wearable.

The Braid Clog, $159

They look great with Varley sets or simple sweatsuits, which is basically my uniform while working from home on cold winter days. They’re also perfect for quick errands when you want to look intentional, not like you grabbed the closest shoe by the door. I wore the braided pair outside the other day while cleaning up before Christmas and made a complete mess of them, but everything wiped right off. Mud, dirt, gone.

The ReVelvet™ Penny Loafer

The ReVelvet™ Penny Loafer, $139

Next, The ReVelvet™ Penny Loafer. Made with Rothy’s ReVelvet™, which is unbelievably knit from 100% recycled plastic bottles. These are comfortable, chic and add the right amount of texture.

Right now, the ReVelvet™ styles are on sale for $139. I have these in black but am going to get the brown as well. These look great with slim striaight bottoms, like your favorite jeans, you can wear them with our without socks depending on your comfort and preference.

I like these if you find yourself always wearing sneakers but want to change it up a bit.

The Double Bit Loafer Mule

The Double Bit Loafer Mule, $155

Another style I have and love is The Double Bit Loafer Mule. I have these in the Classic Micro Check and they were fabulous in the early fall with a pair of ankle pants or jeans. If you live in a warm weather climate I imagine these would be perfect for your version of winter. I’ll certainly pull these out once the spring hits and we get to enjoy more mild temps.

Again, super comfortable withselect colors on sale including Waffle Micro Check, a perfect neutral, for $119.

The Lug Boot

The Lug Boot, On Sale $199

I’m probably most surprised by how much I like The Lug Boot (you can see me wearing them here).

I’ve had these for several years now, and they’ve held up beautifully. They still look almost new, and every time I put them on I’m reminded how comfortable and well-designed they are. Easy, no fuss, and they look great with jeans. Simple in the best way.

They’re also available in black, though those are selling out quickly.

The Point II

The Point II, $155 (with colors on sale starting at $69)

Finally, one of their original styles is still a best seller: The Point II.

I have several pairs of these, and they’re one of my go-to shoes for travel. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and surprisingly chic, which makes them a great airport shoe and an easy option for long days on your feet.

I especially love them in red. Black is a smart first choice if you’re looking for a simple, versatile ballet flat, and there are plenty of prints and patterns if you want to add a little personality without sacrificing wearability.
