6 Affordable Black Pants

If you need a pair of black pants to break up the sea of jeans in your closet, we have you covered with these affordable options.

I wanted to keep these under $150. You can certainly spend more, and if they are part of your core wardrobe, I recommend buying the best you can afford.

However, most “better” brands do not include petites or talls and stop their sizing at a 12, and the 12 fits like a 10, which isn’t helpful or inclusive.

Our recommendations below are inclusive in size and start at $54.

Let’s go shopping.

Hayden Taper Pant

Starting off with the most affordable and best selling pants we’ve featured this year, the Hayden Taper Pant from Banana Republic Factory.

Please note, I’m showing them in the grey because it’s a better image of the pant, but it’s available in black, in sizes 0 – 20 in regular, petite and tall.

These have a flat front and elastic back so they fit an apple shape well.

Priced at $54.00.

Hi. I am having a really hard time finding nice plus size belts. I have searched online on every plus size site I can think of. Either the quality is poor or they’re over $100. Thoughts? Maybe there are just not enough of us out there looking for belts.

Which of these black pants would fit someone with heavier calves? Thank you.

It's really impossible for me to give advice like this because I don't know what your body looks like. You probably want to avoid tapered bottoms, other than that you have to try things on.
