What to Buy at EVEREVE

EVEREVE is one of the few places I can count on for pieces that look current and still make sense for real life. The assortment is edited rather than overwhelming, with a strong focus on premium denim, contemporary brands, and a private label that keeps improving.

One thing to know: fabric content varies a lot here, even within the same brand, so check the Material & Care section before you buy. I did for everything below.

Sizing remains somewhat limited, with most styles topping out around an XL, and popular pieces tend to sell quickly. The KUT jean runs 00 to 16, the AG jean 24 to 32, and shoes 6 to 11.

What to Buy at Evereve

Tove Crewneck Stripe Pullover

This is the sweater I’d start with. It’s 100% cotton, so it’s warm enough for September and October without the itch or the bulk of wool, and it goes in the washing machine. The chocolate and plum stripe is a nice change from navy and cream, and it reads as fall without being a “fall sweater.”

The fit is slightly cropped with dropped shoulders, so it sits well with higher-rise jeans and trousers. Wear it with either pair of KUT jeans below and a loafer and you’re done.

Juliet Cashmere V Neck Sweater

If you want one cashmere sweater this fall, this is a good option. It’s 100% cashmere with a relaxed fit, ribbed details, and a V-neck that layers cleanly over a cami or a collared shirt. The Heathered Grey and Cabernet both work with everything you already own.

Tia Ribbed Sweater

Every fall wardrobe needs a fitted, ribbed crewneck that goes under jackets, cardigans, and vests. This one is 61% cotton and 39% viscose, so it has the structure of a sweater with the smoothness of a knit top, and it doesn’t add bulk under a layer.

Wear it on its own with jeans, or under the Ali cardigan or the suede jacket below. Available in solid gray or the chocolate stripe above (my pick).

It’s hand wash, dry flat.

Whitney Plaid Blouse

A plaid top is an easy way to get fall into your wardrobe without buying a whole new outfit. This one has a crew neck, button front, and 3/4 sleeves, and the textured plaid is warm-toned, so it works with jeans, brown trousers, and olive. I actually love this with a pair of high waisted trouser jeans.

The fabric is 65% polyester and 35% cotton so not a perfect blend but I nice easy piece to add some personality.

Avery Straight Leg Jean (KUT From the Kloth)

KUT is one of the most reliable denim brands at EVEREVE, and the Avery is a good everyday straight leg. It’s 93% cotton with a touch of stretch, mid-rise, and a relaxed straight leg with a 28 1/4 inch cropped inseam. The dark wash goes with everything.

This is the jean to wear with the Tove stripe pullover and a loafer, or with the Tia sweater and sneakers. Sizes run 00 to 16, which is one of the widest ranges on the site.

Mari Straight Jean (AG)

If the Avery is your relaxed everyday jean, the Mari is the slim one. It’s a slim straight leg with a 13 inch leg opening, mid-rise at 9 3/4 inches, and a full 29 inch inseam in a medium blue wash AG calls Mykonos. The denim is 98% cotton with 2% stretch, so it holds its shape without feeling stiff, and it’s machine wash.

The narrower leg is the one to wear with the loafer, and it’s the better choice under the longer sweaters. Sizes run 24 to 32.

Baxen Loafer (Dolce Vita)

Loafers are everywhere this fall, and this is a good one. It’s a suede upper in chestnut with a pointed toe and pleated detail, so it looks a little dressier than a classic penny loafer. The heel is just over half an inch.

Wear it with either pair of jeans above, or with trousers. Sizes run 6 to 11 with half sizes through 10.

Elan Sneaker (Gola)

This is the EVEREVE exclusive from Gola, and it’s a good fall sneaker if you’re tired of white. It has a suede upper in tobacco and navy, a gum rubber sole, and a contrast heel tab. Two reviews so far, both say it’s comfortable right out of the box.

Wear it with the Avery jean and the Tove pullover for an easy weekend outfit.

Ryan Leather Clutch

A snake-print bag is one of the easiest ways to add some interest to a fall outfit, and this one is 100% leather with a cotton lining, so it will hold up. It comes with a detachable strap, so you can carry it as a clutch or wear it on the shoulder. At 13 by 9 inches, it’s roomier than most clutches. The one reviewer so far said it was bigger than expected and fit everything she needed.

Use this like a neutral to go back to black and gray, also looks great with burgundy, navy or olives.
