Special Occasion Holiday Looks with Talbots

First, this head-to-toe monochromatic silver look is stunning. 

This Sequin Skirt is a show stopper, it looks like sparkly liquid metal. The sequins are smooth and soft and what I was so delighted by is that the skirt is lined and so  comfortable up against your skin.

I am 5’10 and am wearing the size 6.

I paired it with their Cashmere Turtleneck. You can’t see it well in the photo but it has a little bit of shimmer to it. The mix of cashmere with sequin is so elegant. 

We host a party on Christmas night that over the years has turned into a big fun gathering of friends and family. And while it is very “come as you are” I’m thinking, as the host, a sequin skirt and turtleneck is the way to go. 

If I was wearing this to a party out of my house, I would grab this  Lamé Knotted Clutch that is the perfect match.

Another festive event on our calendar is the Santa Brunch at our club. We originally joined when our older girls were starting to outgrow the little-kid Christmas traditions, but now with Vivi, we get to experience all the magic again. At almost 6 years old, she’s at the perfect age to fully embrace the holiday wonder.

We always invite our best friends—whose kids feel more like cousins—and it’s such a joyful afternoon filled with laughter, holiday cheer, and everyone dressed in their most festive and chic outfits.
