It’s a well known fact that white jeans are one of our Well Dressed Staples for spring and summer.
They make everything look crisp and fresh.
And they go with everything from bright tops, to print blouses, and basic tee shirts.
But today, we’re sharing three white jean outfits that take your favorite white jeans and highlight their timeless elegance.
Easy to Recreate White Jeans Outfits
In these white jeans outfits we’re mixing some seasonal staples and new finds.
Let’s start with the jeans, because they will look familiar.
White Jean Options in All Sizes
Straight White Ankle Jeans, $40
Earlier in the season we shared our the three best white jeans that aren’t see through.
Your favorite from our round-up are the Old Navy High-Waist O.G. Straight Ankle Jean.
Old Navy makes a fantastic jeans for the price point. At retail these are only $40, but they are alway, ALWAYS on sale. For example, right now, you’ll get an additional 25% off.
Available in regular, tall and petite in 00 – 30. These have a ton of stretch so go down a size as they will stretch out as you wear them.
You can see our other recommendations from Madewell (my favorite) and NYDJ in our post here.
Three White Jeans Outfits for Summer
Nautical Inspired
Oversized Half-Zip Sweater, $130 | Grand Crosscourt Sneaker, $129.95 | Gold Hoops, $14 | Faux Leather Tote Bag, $14
This is what I wear in my fantasy summer.
What am I doing? I don’t know; walking around a quaint coastal town, there is a cool breeze off the beach, hydrangeas surround me, and I’m sipping wine consequence-free.
Anyway, this outfit is adorable.
I found the navy and white sweater at Banana Republic. It’s supposed to be oversized, so pay attention to the measurements and read the reviews (they are all good).
I would wear a simple tank underneath, like the Nic + Zoe Perfect Tank in white.
Available in regular and petite, in XXS – XXL. Currently 30% off with code BRTHIRTY.
The dramatic collar of the sweater is an accessory in and of itself, so I kept the earring simple with our favorite, go-to Amazon hoops. I wear these all the time.
Another crazy inexpensive Amazon find for the bag is this faux leather tote in white.
And for a shoe, these Cole Haan leather sneakers, in all white. I have these and love them. And just recently, my oldest stole them right out of my closet, so you know they are cool 😉
Black and White
Shirred Top, $35 | Heeled Sandals, $70 Woven Clutch, $32 |Pearl Studs, $110
Black and white is a classic combination, made more interesting by incorporating texture.
That’s the trick this time of year when the weather is warm, and you don’t want to add extra layers. Instead, texture can take its place and add some much-needed visual interest.
I’m reusing a Reader Favorite, the Shirred Top from Old Navy. It’s lightweight, so if you like to keep your arms covered in the summer months, this will do that but keep you cool.

I’m using a heel here to give a bit of height. The Bristol Sandals are by Naturalizer, a Reader Favorite and part of our sandal round-up last month. Sizes are getting limited but still available.
Another way to add texture is with accessories, like with this woven under $40 bag from Amazon. I also have this, and I always ask where I found it.
Finally, I’m using the Julie Vos Pearl Studs to kick up the elegance factor. I LOVE these. I have a large size, and they are significant. But I have big ears, so they work ;).
White on White
Linen Resort Shirt, $85 | Leather Belt, $39.50 | Leather Sandals, $155 | Tote Bag, $375
And the all-white look is as chic as it gets. I wore a similar outfit to dinner a few nights ago (kid-free, obvi) and felt so put together.
I’m using the Linen Resort Shirt from Banana Republic for the top. available in regular, tall, and petite, in XXS – XL.
Then this rich luggage color is one of my favorite neutrals. It makes everything look and feel rich.
To tie this all together, I’m using a thin leather belt from J.Crew for under $30. It works so well with the Alibi Sandals from Tuckernuck.
And I included this impractical and expensive bag, also from Tuckernuck, because it is gorgeous. Of course, you can use any tan handbag you have to finish the look.
