Accessories and fragrance are some of the easiest ways to make what you already own feel more personal. They can finish an outfit, add color or interest, and become part of how you dress every day.
This guide brings together my year-round favorites, from jewelry and sunglasses to the fragrances I have worn and loved for years. It is a curated list of the pieces I own, use regularly and recommend most often.
As we move through the year, I’ll add seasonal editions featuring the accessories and fragrances that feel especially right for fall, winter, spring and summer.

Earrings

Earrings are my favorite category of jewelry. I wear them every day, and these three give me everything I need: a larger hoop, a classic pearl stud and a simple huggie.
JENNY BIRD Florence Earrings | $158
These create the look of two chunky hoops with a single piercing. They have presence, so they are especially good when the rest of the outfit is simple.
JULIE VOS Penelope Stud | $75–$120
A beautiful pearl stud framed in gold and available in three sizes. They feel classic and special, and I love them as an alternative to a plain pearl earring.
MONICA VINADER Tapered Huggie Earrings | $130
The pair to wear every day. They sit close to the ear, have a clean tapered shape and work with absolutely everything.

Necklaces

or worn over a crewneck sweater. These are the two I reach for most:
MONICA VINADER Solitaire Diamond Chain Necklace | $300
A delicate everyday necklace with a single lab-grown diamond. It is simple enough to wear with anything and layers beautifully when you want to add another chain.
ELECTRIC PICKS Richie Necklace | $118
A classic tennis necklace with a little more presence and sparkle. I especially love this one over a crewneck tee or sweater, where you can see the entire necklace

Leather Goods

Favorite Daughter The Favorite Belt | $98
A simple, timeless leather belt with a substantial gold buckle. It is the one I wear with jeans and trousers when an outfit needs a finished detail. Really nice quality for just under $100.
MAISON de SABRÉ The Trifold Wallet | $168
My everyday wallet and one of the recommendations that has been especially popular with our community. I receive so many messages from readers who bought it and love it too. It holds what you need, keeps everything organized and is compact enough to fit inside smaller bags.

Bracelets

Next to earrings, bracelets are my favorite jewelry category. I have a stack I’ve collected over the years, mixing fine jewelry with inexpensive pieces. These are the two I wear every day:
ELECTRIC PICKS Richie Bracelet | $88
A classic tennis bracelet that adds just the right amount of sparkle. It looks great mixed into a larger stack and is easy enough to wear every day.
MONICA VINADER Signature Link Bangle | $525
The investment piece in my stack. The interlocking link gives it a distinctive shape, and it looks beautiful worn alone or layered with everything else I’ve collected.
JENNY BIRD Dhani Bracelet | $128
My latest purchase and such a good addition to my stack. The chunky gold links add beautiful texture alongside my bangles and more delicate bracelets.

Hats and Sunglasses

Sunglasses and baseball hats are year-round staples for me. After spending more money than I care to admit on designer sunglasses, Quay has become my go-to, and it is a well-known fact that I practically live in a baseball hat.
QUAY In the City Sunglasses | $85
A classic oversized shape that looks far more expensive than it is and comes in several colors.
RALPH LAUREN The Iconic Cotton Chino Ball Cap | $55
The quintessential baseball hat in cotton chino with the signature embroidered pony. I wear mine with everything from workout clothes to jeans and a sweater.

Fragrance

I’m including fragrance because I truly believe it is the finishing touch to any look. I honestly do not leave my room in the morning without putting something on, and these are the four I wear most often:
SALT & STONE Lily & Yuzu Body Mist | $45
Light, fresh and easy to wear on its own or layered with another fragrance. I especially love it paired with the matching deodorant.
LAKE & SKYE 11 11 Eau de Parfum | $105
Clean, airy and slightly musky. This is the kind of fragrance you can wear every day, especially when you want something subtle that stays close to the skin.
Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Cologne | $30–$175
My longtime favorite and signature fragrance. It is floral, soft and a little warm, and after wearing it for years, it still feels the most like me.
By Rosie Jane Rosie Perfume | $29–$87
A soft skin scent with rose and musk. It is simple, warm and especially good on days when I want something very subtle.
