What to Buy on Cyber Monday

What to Buy on Cyber Monday

Hello Friends!

I hope you had a restful Thanksgiving break. For the first time all year, I stepped away from technology for a few days. I didn’t open my laptop, barely looked at my phone, and I didn’t miss either of them.

But Cyber Monday is when I get back into reality and try to kick out my gift list and take advantage of some savings.

To make this as helpful and not overwhelming, I woke up extra early and looked at our analytics from the last three months so I could highlight the best items out there.

These sales are over in a flash. They expire by the end of the day today. So I’m didn’t bother creating pretty graphics. Instead, this is a detailed list of deals on items our readers love, things I’m eyeing, and deals you don’t want to miss.

Let’s get shopping.

Birdies: If you haven’t tried our go-to, loafer/slipper designed for holiday entertaining, now is your chance. New costumers get 25% off with the code: GIVEBIRDIES.

Available at Birdies.

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings: These guys NEVER go on sale. Originally $98, on sale for 20% off making them $78. Size up one when ordering.

Available at Nordstrom.

Tuckernuck: Another retailer that rarely goes on sale is Tuckernuck. Here’s how this one works. Everything on the site is 20% off for today only. If you spend $500 you get 25% off, if you spend $1000 it jumps to 30%.

Use code SHOWTIME at checkout.

This oversized white blouse is stunning.

Readers loved this leather trimmed poncho when I featured it last month.

I added their Park Slope turtleneck to my cart after reading all the glowing reviews and will pack it for a ski vacation we’re taking in January. I bought the black (obviously) but lots of colors are available.

Finally, their polo sweatshirt has a cult like following, with 20% off it’s $78. I’m obsessed with it, you like a lady but you’re really wearing a sweatshirt.

Old Navy: ON is always having some kind of sale and this Cyber Monday is no different. Here are some top picks at 50% off.

Our Reader Favorite High Rise Straight Jeans are available in all sizes and on sale for only $17.

I’m adding this ivory color sherpa lined “schaket” to my cart. It’s looks WAY more expensive than $37 . Available in regular, tall and petite up to 4X.

And if you could use a few new, affordable sweaters for the winter, they have so many. I’m ordering this speckled cable-knit in pink.

Banana Republic: Next to Nordstrom, BR has become our top retailer.

For years their selection has be spectacular. So many of their looks I would wear head to toe, and that’s saying a lot since I usually suggest mixing it up a bit.

They are size inclusive, with modern and chic styles that are approachable and affordable.

Their Avery Straight Leg Wool Ankle Pant is the most popular pant of the year. I get emails weekly from readers  who bought them on my recommendation raving about them.. You can get them today for 50% off making them only $48. Available in black here, and navy here

The Cloud Fleece Sweatshirt everyone bought last month is now $29.

If you loved their Merino Turtleneck Sweater, you can pick up another color for $39

And an equally raved about item is their Classic Fit Denim Shirt, also only $39.

Finally, a quick Amazon list.

Last night I ordered three pairs of these leggings by Healthy Yoga for about $16 each. They have fabulous reviews.

The REVLON One-Step Hair Dryer And Volumizer Hot Air Brush is a hot deal for under $25. I’ve had this for years and still regularly use it.

I bought this Echo Dot for my 14 year old for Christmas so she can keep it by her bed and play music, set an alarm and all sorts of other things.

My go-to travel Toiletry Bag by BAGSMART is under $25. I have it in baby pink. Would make a great gift too.

I have and use the COSORI Air Fryer Max XL all the time and it’s on sale for about $100. It was one of the best kitchen items I purchased this year.

Trying out Tuckernaut for the first time!! Thank you for the practical, the tried-and-true recommendations. I hate what Cyber Monday has become--a giant frenzy of buy, buy, buy messaging and consumerism--and am glad to support someone who doesn't support that mentality! I love your content not only today, but every day. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I hope you love Tuckernuck as much as I do. I also picked up a few things yesterday that I can't wait to get. Your purchase supports two small women-owned business! Mine and hers! And thank you for your kind words and seeing my mission so clearly. I never want to promote over consumption, my idea was always to offer vetted options, so when you make a purchase you're more likely keep and enjoy it for many years. :)

Just so everyone knows, the Starling and Heron are excluded from the Birdies sale. It was annoyingly only found in the fine print after I had gone almost through the ordering process.

That's so annoying, I'm sorry about that. I can't believe they would exclude their top sellers.
