The Under $50 Over-the-Knee-Boot I’m Surprised I Like

Over-the-knee boots have been popular for quite a while. But I like to take my time with trends, see how they evolve and then decide if and when to use them.

Because most of our lives in no way support needing more than one pair of these, I wanted to pick one that was versatile, affordable, and easy to incorporate into my uneventful suburban life.

So when I started to hear rumblings of (unsponsored) praise for these tan suede over the knee boots for under $50 from Amazon on social media, I decided to give them a try.

Here’s Me Giving them a Try

Over the knee boots

Boots: $45, Jeans: $90

First of all, I will never be comfortable posting pictures of myself, but thank you to everyone for all the nice comments. I know the pictures are helpful, even though all I hear in my head when I see them, “who do you think you are?”

For some context, I am 5’10, but I wouldn’t consider my legs extra long given my height. However, I found these on Pop of Pippi’s Instagram and she is teeny and looks fantastic in them.

Are they the best quality? No. They do the trick though, which is to let you wear a trend while it’s popular without feeling committed to it and spending a small fortune.

They are surprisingly comfortable. The block heel gives nice support and they are not too high making them super easy to walk in.

I paired them with a new go-to jean, these Joe’s Curvy Skinny Ankle Jean I found at Off 5th. (Still available for $90 – they usually retail for $189). I LOVE these. They are high waisted, with nice stretch.

I am going to wear them a few different ways this weekend and share some ideas in my Instagram stories. Be sure to follow along on Instagram to see more real life photos and inspiration 🙂

  1. Thanks for sharing about these! They’re even a similar price from Amazon.ca (depending on colour). 😁 Your pictures are SO helpful too. ♡

  2. The answer to ” who do you think you are?” is, a woman who has worked really hard to help other women get dressed in the morning and a woman with a successful career doing what she loves! Don’t let anyone diminish you. You’re doing great work! Thanks you.

  3. I don’t know who YOU think you are, but I know that I think you are amazing and awesome and real and we LOVE the pics that beautifully showcase what you’re talking about in your post and what (whatever it is) looks like in real life. 🙂

  4. If you like the Joe’s Jeans curvy, try their new Hi(-rise) Honey style. I discovered a pair at my Nordstrom Rack and immediately ordered two more (one I found on their website on clearance for $18!), I loved them that much!
