💕18 years ago we were two young, broke kids in love with no idea what the future would hold.
.
We could have never imagined the challenges and heartbreak we would face. How hard things would get and how crazy the world would become.
.
But we also never imagined life would turn out so good, how much love would fill our home, how we would be so blessed by our children and that the strength of our love would carry us through every hard time.
.
Marriage isn’t perfect. It’s not suppose to be. But I’m grateful everyday that I’ve been able to build my life with such a good man.
.
We’ll celebrate today by driving our kids to crew and field hockey and volleyball and softball and then we’ll watch an episode of Ted Lasso and fall asleep on the sofa 💕💕

I don’t take a lot of time “off” and when I do it’s to go away somewhere.
.
But last weekend I just got this overwhelming need to step away from everything work related.
.
So instead of living on my computer, obsessively analyzing and overthinking everything, I let myself take a break while I was at home.
.
For me that looked like putting my house back in order after a long travel sports season, getting ahead of the back to school rush, recharging my workout routine and spending a lot time with my kids.
.
We binged watched shows, went to lunch and hung out by the pool with friends.
.
It was perfect. And the break from social media was really good for my mental health, which hasn’t been feeling so great lately.
.
It was nice to get to recharge and reconnect by disconnecting 💕
.
