Nordstrom: Black Friday and Cyber Weekend Deals

We’re kicking off our Black Friday and Cyber Weekend coverage with a stop at Nordstrom!

Everyone is having a sale this weekend, and it’s a lot, too much really. Sorting through endless inventory is overwhelming, but I’ve done the hard work for you. I’ve scoured the stores and brands we know and love to highlight where the real value lies.

When it comes to Nordstrom, I’ll admit their selection isn’t what it used to be in certain areas. For example, I used to swear by their sweaters, but now I find the quality and pricing at Gap brands to be far superior.

That said, Nordstrom still shines when it comes to their higher-end brands. Right now, you can snag amazing deals on some of my favorite items, like Mother Denim, gorgeous coats from Reiss, luxurious leather goods from Australian brand MAISON de SABRÉ, and a few stunning pairs of wardrobe-building shoes I think you’ll adore.

Fair warning: the picks below lean splurge-worthy, but they’re truly worth it if you’re looking to invest in a deal. And don’t worry—there’s more to come!

Mother Denim

Mother Denim makes my absolute favorite splurge-worthy jeans, and they almost never go on sale. In fact, I’ve only ever purchased them at full price—a true testament to how much I love them. If you’re a regular reader, you know I don’t discriminate when it comes to jeans. You can find amazing pairs for as little as $20 or upwards of $200, and I happily wear them all.

But there’s something special about Mother Denim. Yes, they’re a bit of an investment, but they look and feel undeniably better than the rest.

REISS

Reiss is a British fashion brand renowned for its contemporary, polished designs that strike a balance between timeless style and modern sophistication. Established in 1971 by David Reiss, the brand initially focused on men’s tailoring but expanded into womenswear in the late 1990s, making it a go-to label for chic, elevated wardrobe essentials.

Years ago I splurged one of their coats and it was one of the lovelies pieces I ever put on my body. I wore it so frequently and for so long I wore out the lining.

Nordstrom has a few options currently on Black Friday Sale.

Their Mia Wool Blend Coat is gorgeous in camel, originally $560, now $420.

The Tor Belted Wool Blend Coat is a classic wardrobe piece, on sale for 37% off – it is limited in sizes but worthing taking a peak at.

And the Rae Belted Cashmere Blend Coat is done in what they are calling “teal” but it’s rich and interesting – love when you can wear an alternative

Rothy’s The Point II

By now we all know about Rothy’s. I’ve had mine for years and still turn to them. Just this week I had a little dinner party and wore them with a pair of slim jeans and cashmere sweater. They were perfect for hosting and running around the kitchen but still wanting to look and feel polished.

I have this two tone pair called Camel Captoe and this leopard pair called Dessert Cat. They are usually $155, but for the Nordstrom Black Friday Sale they are $99 (or 37% off).

MAISON de SABRÉ

MAISON de SABRÉ is an Australian luxury accessories brand renowned for its personalized leather goods, including phone cases, wallets, and handbags. And they have a gorgeous collection of options in Nordstrom’s Black Friday Sale.

Their Small Leather Soft Tote is on sale for 25%, I have my eye on the color Sandstone Manhattan.

If you need something bigger, their Large Leather Snap Tote is also part of the sale.

And if you need a gift around $100 that will have big impact, their Leather Trifold Wallet would be perfect. It’s available in several colors, I like the Pecan Nude, the Fuschia Lavender, and the Graphite Sky.

Cole Haan Catlyn Bootie

If you’re on the hunt for an updated ankle boot you can wear for years to come consider the Cole Haan Catlyn Bootie, available in black and brown (there is also a chocolate croco, but, frankly, I think they look cheap).

However, the sold black and brown option has real timeless staying power. Regular price they are $180, for Black Friday they are $124.99.

The block heel is a great height if you want something manageable but still get a nice lift.
