One of my intentions for our daily posts is to introduce you to new or new-to-you brands and designers that help elevate your style. When creating a modern and classic wardrobe on a budget, getting the mix right is important.
You want to balance your look with a combination of high and low pieces.
Because most of us shop at mainstream stores, adding unique accessories, particularly jewelry, takes an outfit to a whole new level.
It’s this formula that helps create a style with depth and interest.
Julie Vos is one of my favorite brands that does just that. Her elegant jewelry designs add richness to even your most basic outfit.
Julie Vos Picks for Fall
Julie Vos is designed and handcrafted to the standards of fine jewelry. Made of pearl and imported glass, handset in 24k gold plate over nickel-free brass and sealed to prevent tarnish.
Her aesthetic is worldly and elegant. Prices range from about $50, to several hundred. I’ve collected a few pieces over several seasons and I’m always excited put them on.
I think they looks best paired with simple basics, like, your favorite jeans, tee-shirt and sweater combination, a slim suit, or a classic black dress.
Below, I gathered some of my favorites from her new arrivals, prices well enough to be a self purchase or to check off a gift on your holiday shopping list.
Windsor Earrings
Windsor Earring, $85
These simple, yet gorgeous Windsor Earrings would be a great way to try the brand. For under $100 they are a lovely, every day earring you can wear year round.
Honey Stud
Honey Stud, $135
I have these Honey Stud earrings in clear crystal (above). They are substantial in size and look great with chunky sweaters and turtlenecks.
You have eight color options for the stone. If I were to pick up another pair, I’d go with the Iridescent Chalcedony Blue – it’s gorgeous.
Fern Ring
Fern Ring, $75
Pick this Fern Ring up for yourself, or as a under $100 gift for the upcoming holidays. The ring itself, and the packaging it comes in, makes it a quiet impressive present.
Next up, two bangles I love, both ideal to wear as a stand alone piece, or layer with other favorite bracelets.
Crescent Bangle
Crescent Bangle, $85
The Crescent Bangle is $85, with your choice of eight station placed stones in size small, medium and large.
Soho Bangle
SoHo Bangle, $75
The SoHo Bangle is part of the SoHo Collection. I featured these matching earrings last year and many of you love them as much as I do.
Choose between gold, or a striking black with gold bead detail.
