I was thrilled to see the popularity of these green pants from Ann Taylor, featured in our Sunday Sales last weekend.
Trying to add some variety to our offerings can be a challenge, but these checked a lot of boxes.
The fit is fabulous, they are versatile and, as a bonus, they’re on sale for 30% off.
So I created a few outfits, using items we’ve recently featured, so show how you can style these this holiday season and in the winter.

Personally, I like the curvy cut.

With an Off the Shoulder Sweater
Off-the-shoulder sweater, $25 | Block Heel Pump, $96 | Velvet Bow Drop Earrings, $29.50
This off-the-shoulder sweater from H&M was a best seller last month. If you need a few updated knits for the season, especially something special for the holidays, I highly recommend their collection. They are always high quality at incredible prices.
So if you have this sweater already, feel free to pair them with any colorful bottom.
I paired this with these March Fisher Block Heel Pumps. They’ll look familiar, too; the suede version of these is a reader favorite.
Here, I’m using the sparkly black version as an option. But your go-to black heel would work well here.
And for an earring, these bow pearl drops from Talbots are another familiar item. They add a whimsical and cohesive element to the look.
With a Novelty Blouse
Mixed Media Sweater, $49 | Earrings, $120 | The Starling Loafer, $98
In this look, we’re using a popular top by the brand CeCe. These are fantastic for those tricky occasions when you want to be a little more dressed up than what you wear to work.
I happen to love their mixed media sweater, featured above in black. And it’s on sale for just under $50 at Nordstrom. Color and size combination availability vary.
For earrings, I’m using these Julie Vos pearl drops. I ordered these for my birthday present to myself. I love pretty much everything she does.
And then, because this would be a lovely option to wear while hosting at home or going to a friend’s house, I included the Starling Loafer from Birdies.

With a Novelty Shoe

Finally, let’s play with complementary colors.
We’ve shared these velvet mules, by Sam Edelman, a few times. In fact, I’m wearing them in this week’s Outfit in Real Life.
With the green, I’m using the saffron because it’s in the yellow family and works beautifully with green. So fun and festive.
Then, to neutralize the look, I found this blouse at Banana Republic Factory and I think it’s a real winner. Full discolsure, I do not have it yet, but the cut, details and draping are all on point. I ordered the white, black and cherry.
Seems like a fantastic, updated basic and is only $30 in regular and petite sizes.
To wrap it up, and work off the details of the shoe, I found these Double Drop Earrings at Saks for just under $100.
They are a nice size and adds just the right amount of sparkle.
