After a long school year and an even longer sports season, we finally settled into our house at the beach for the rest of the summer.
I’m so grateful for the change of pace and scenery.
And even though we are still working, you won’t hear me complain.
This has been my dream since I was a kid, to spend enough time at the beach that you get comfortable, falling into an ease and routine.
To see our kids with their sandy feet, joyfully riding around town on bikes, tasting a bit of independence, and for us to have days filled with friends and family, I just couldn’t be happier.
My husband and I talked about how fast time was flying the other day. We know it’s a by-product of where we are in life, but he said it best; it’s like time is on super speed.
In a few weeks, we’ll be back to school, starting to visit colleges with our oldest (insert sobbing emoji), and return to the everyday grind.
So I’m trying to savor every minute and be happy for the break, freezing these fleeting moments in my memory.
July is always our busiest month here at The Well Dressed Life.
The Nordstrom Sale and Amazon Prime Days are overwhelming.
We’ll share some of those best sellers this week.
We also had our 2nd Annual Problem Solvers Week, filled with fun and affordable finds to help keep your closet tidy, your clothes in great shape, your beauty products working, and your travel days comfortable.
And our most popular feature this month, maybe the year so far, was How to Stop Feeling Frumpy.
Coming up in August, we’ll share lots of transition content, with buy now, where now and later finds and style tips, along with some updated content around determining and shopping for your body type.
So stay tuned!
