Coated Jeans

Everyone knows I have a soft spot for coated jeans—they’re my go-to bottoms, right up there with classic denim. To me, they’re the ultimate piece for a versatile wardrobe, effortlessly shifting from casual to chic with the right styling.

Today, I’m sharing my favorite way to wear them: a little dressed up, a little dressed down.

Let’s start with the star of the look: the Women’s Coated Marilyn Straight Jeans from NYDJ, available in sizes 4–18. These run large, so I recommend sizing down; I usually wear a 6 but took a 4 in this style.

For the top, I went with a gorgeous Fair Isle Sweater from Levi’s—a fan-favorite pattern that adds a cozy, classic touch. This one runs small, so size up; it’s available in XS–XXL.

The combination of the coated jean’s sleek texture and the rich knit of the sweater is just so striking.

Finally, I added these Mid-Heel Pumps from Marc Fisher, one of my favorite brands for shoes that blend comfort with style.

The heel height is just right for pairing with straight-leg pants. Notice how the hem of the jeans hits right at the ankle? This is the perfect length for pumps like these, keeping your leg line looking long and lean.

Embellished Sweater

This time of year, I’m all about effortless outfits that combine comfort with a touch of polish. Whether you’re hosting or celebrating in a more casual setting, you probably want something that feels festive without being too restrictive.

And this look checks the box.

For a festive pop of color, I chose this Rhinestone Bow Crew Neck Sweater in a holiday-perfect red. It’s also available in black, white, and gray, in sizes XS–XL (I’m wearing a small).

I paired it with the Pull-On High-Rise Satin Pants from Anne Klein available in XXS -XXL. I am 5 ’10 and these break on the top of my feet when wearing a flat.
