The Best Jeans for Curves

Jeans for CurvesJeans, $159 sizes 0 – 24 (yup)

Before you think I lost my mind, or unsubscribe, hear me out.

These jeans were “designed” by Khloe Kardashian. They are available at Nordstrom and when I first saw them; I rolled my eyes – hard. While I’ve been known to have a good Kardashian binge-a-thon on days where I choose zoning out as a coping mechanism for a particularly stress filled day, I would never, ever put their apparel in the dressing room of a client.

Until last week.

I worked with a tall, curvy young lady who happened to need a new pair of skinny jeans and there these were staring at me. Could they be that bad? Maybe she watches the Kardashians in secret too? I decided to give them a try, and holy moly did they look fantastic.

Ladies with curvy bottoms know the struggle all too well. You pull on a pair of jeans supposedly made for your shape and size, maybe the legs fit well, and you can get them over your hips, but then your waistband gaps so awkwardly that they are not wearable. No amount of alterations will make them work.

So my lovely client pulls these on and somehow, someway, they hug her in all the right places. They have great length if you are on the tall side (otherwise a simple hem will make them work), they fit beautifully in the hips, balanced back pocket placement and, to my utter shock, the waistband perfectly laid flat against her – no obnoxious gapping. They are unbelievable. They are so good that I wouldn’t be doing my job as your fair and balanced style advocate if I didn’t tell you about them.

I’m officially on board. Not all the styles are for me (and when I say me, I mean my ladies) but the classic skinny is just that, classic. They are the best curvy jean I’ve seen in a long time. If you have a true hourglass shape, with a small waist and full bottom, or if you are pretty sure Sir Mix A Lot was singing about you, give these a try the next time you need a new pair of jeans.
