Wear to Work: How to Wear Floral Pumps

With temperatures finally warming up, it’s time to swap out our heavy shoes for something lighter and maybe extra feminine. Maybe head to toe florals isn’t your style. But, in a pump, it’s an easy and affordable way to incorporate a trend and add some pretty into your wardrobe.

For some inspiration, we paired some of our favorite floral pumps with a few items you may already have in your closet.

Floral Pumps for the creative professionalCorso Como Pumps, $139 + Forever 21 Crepe Shawl Collar Blazer, $30 + NYDJ Marilyn Straight Leg, $110

For the creative professional, or someone in a casual office (i.e. where jeans are acceptable) adding a pump in a bold floral and balancing the look with a tailored blazer is professional and appropriate for the season.

Floral Pumps for the professionalIvanka Trump Kimo Floral Pump, $130 + Theory Golda Navy Skirt, $100 + NYDJ Drape Front Blouse, $98

You could easily wear these pumps with a traditional suit.  I just loved this blouse from NYDJ.  The drape adds interest and is professional. You could wear it on its own with a simple skirt or layered under a jacket.  Not crazy about a platform?  The same pattern comes in an peep toe.

Floral pumps with a dressWhite House Black Market Printed Floral Slingback Heels, $90 + MICHAEL Michael Kors Faux Wrap Dress, $120

Something about the floral print on a black background makes this shoe feel sophisticated. Pair it with a simple black work-appropriate dress. I like a sling back in the spring with a skirt or dress that has some movement. The pairing looks fresh and lights.
