For about two years, our marketing and social media team have been telling me to shoot videos and for about two years I ignored them. Why in the world would I do that? The world of online “experts” is bursting at the seams. Everyone but me wants to be a YouTube star. The digital world has a dark side, and frankly, I don’t have the best personality for dealing with online bullies and general crazy people. After meeting face to face with our team last month, I was officially talked into it. To start the series, we thought we would make a few Q&A Tuesday posts into video. These videos will be just like the posts, fueled by either the questions you post in the comments, via email or the questions we get in programs and workshops across the country. The point is to give as many tips and advice as we can, all generated by our community.
