White jeans. The elusive wardrobe staple that, when done well, can make any outfit crisp and fresh. They both dress up and give a casual vibe to any look. Of course, finding a pair that fits properly and isn’t entirely see through feels almost impossible. Years ago I found a now discontinued pair of white designer jeans at an outlet (for like $40) that I wore until they were threadbare. I would have paid an absurd amount of money to replace them. With the change of season comes the need for a few new pair of shoes, and this pair is not to be missed. I tend to lean towards neutral, classic shoes that go with everything. Other than a pair of leopard print pumps, my shoes are a sea of beige, tan and black. But, every now and then something with added interest can also work as a neutral – like these block heeled sandals by Louise et Cei.
The color is rich and gorgeous. Because they sit in the middle of the color spectrum they are a lovely option for all skin tones. The texture adds incredible interest without being too obtrusive; they won’t fight with your outfit. A subtle gold trim makes these modern and elegant.
Because we all live on our smartphones, it feels like the need for a watch has diminished. Lately, though, I’ve been on the search for one. A simple, gold, everyday watch to layer with my bracelets. I was so excited when I found this Cluse watch. I knew it was perfect. It looks expensive but is affordable at under $120. It’s simple, sophisticated and goes with everything.
