Accessorize: Nordstrom’s Under $50 Necklaces

The easiest way to shake the boring off your wardrobe is with a few updated accessories, especially this time of year.  Necklaces are the easiest way to bring some of your personality into your existing wardrobe.  Nordstrom online has a fantastic selection of statement necklaces in the under $50 range that we love.  Interesting, the selection in stores is just okay, online, however, there is an abundance of options.

We picked five of our favorites to fit any personality, style and wardrobe need:

Necklaces at Nordstrom for $50 or Less

1.  Nordstrom Disc Station Necklace, $38 available in gold or silver tone

A long necklace is a simple way to add a layer to your look without adding any bulk. This necklace is the perfect everyday option to wear with lighter layers.  Add it to a silk shell and blazer, a lightweight dress or a blouse, even a tee shirt in warmer weather.

2.  Natasha Couture Floral Statement Necklace, $38

A statement necklace can add some punch to otherwise basic pieces.  Add this to a boatneck shirt or dress, or place under the collar of a shirt.  To kick up the look even more, you can also pick up this necklace and wear them together.

3.  Nordstrom Long Bar Station Necklace, $38 available in gold or silver tone

For heavy pieces, like sweater dresses or turtlenecks, this necklace has the weight necessary to create balance.

4. BaubleBar ‘Jumbo Ice’ Linear Pave Pendant Necklace, $36

A little bling in the day time is perfectly acceptable.  We like the versatility of this piece. Wear it with lighter weight pieces, flowy blouses and dresses.

5.  Ralph Lauren Pearl Necklace, $44

Who doesn’t love a simple pearl necklace?  While nothing compares to the real thing, retirement accounts, and 529s seem to win out in my house.  Maybe one day I’ll have the real thing to pass down to my girls.  Until then, this under $50 option from Ralph Lauren will do.  Looking for a pearl stud?  This matching pair does the trick.
